What is text and image anchoring?

Experimental!

This feature is for very specific use cases - use with caution :)

Currently only works for single-line, left-aligned text.

Anchor Image to Text

Sometimes you may need to anchor an image to the right of a variable amount of text. The best example of this is adding an icon after a username, e.g. the Twitter logo or Instagram “verified" icon.

In the example below, the Bannearbear icon is anchored to the text “Bannerbear”.

You can use this setting to always anchor an image to the right of some text and it snaps in place depending on the amount of text.

Anchor Text to Text

Sometimes you may need to anchor some text to the right of a variable amount of text. An example of this is adding smaller text e.g. "MSRP” next to a large price.

In the example below, both the Twitter logo and Jon’s Twitter handle are anchored to the text “Jon Yongfook”.

You can use this setting to always anchor the small text to the right of some other text and it will snap in place depending on the amount of text.

Note: It's currently not possible to anchor text to images. This also only works with static (non-API) images.
