How do I highlight text in subtitles?

With word highlighting, you can highlight text in your subtitles as they're being spoken, resulting in this effect ↗.

You can do this by applying a Secondary Style to your subtitles/transcription layer in the Template Editor.

  1. Apply the secondary style by enclosing some text with asterisks.
  2. Scroll down to Secondary Styles and choose a color you want to be applied as your highlight.
  3. Hit Save Template

Note: This effect will be applied when creating videos with auto-generated subtitles ↗.
