How to compress your images

The default compression for all JPG files created in a project is set to 90. If you’d like to change this, there are two places you can set the compression level.

Project level

This means all JPGs created under a project will use this compression level.

  1. Head to your project
  2. Click Settings
  3. Head to Advanced →
  4. Set your Custom Compression Level
  5. Hit Save

Template level

This will override any global project settings.

  1. Head to your template
  2. Click the drop-down (...) menu
  3. Select Edit Settings / Metadata
  4. Set your Custom Compression Level
  5. Hit Save

These settings will only apply to the JPG version of your images, which you will find in the API response under "image_url_jpg".
